Currently in my 19th year of practice, I continue to educate myself so that I may provide a high quality of education, awareness and integral holistic therapy.  Nashville Orthopedic Massage was born as a culmination of these experiences, to bring our patients a truly unique and profound therapeutic treatment.

When not in the office, I enjoy reading, backpacking, high intensity ping pong and following the beautiful game, Soccer. I live with my wife and five beautiful children in the rolling hills of Fairview, TN where we enjoy nature, music, art, play time, gardening, and meals with friends and family.

I have a very clear 50/50 rule to my approach of bodywork. As your therapist, you hold me 50% accountable for providing you with the very highest quality of care and education. In turn, I hold you my client, 50% accountable for doing your suggested personal homework in between our sessions, to better further your therapeutic progression as well as empower you through education. The truth is you have a lot more time with “you” than I do!

When not working, I enjoy almost anything outdoors, arts, music, sports or science related. One of my favorite hobbies is playing and producing music with my friends. I am a natural percussionist and will gladly bang on any drum if given the opportunity. I look forward to meeting and working with you soon!

Originally from Chino, California, Sarah embarked on a unique journey before finding her calling as a massage therapist. After spending two decades as a devoted homemaker, she transitioned to a career in the U.S. Army, where she drove trucks in Iraq and Kuwait. It was during this transformative period that she decided to learn massage therapy.

In 2011, Sarah took the pivotal step of pursuing her dream at the Mind Body Institute (MBI) in Nashville, Tennessee. Since then, her unwavering commitment to holistic healing has been marked by significant achievements. She became proficient in Connective Tissue Massage (CTM) in 2012 and attained Master-level Reiki attunement in the Usui method, which she has found helps her arrive to each session with her best self.

Sarah's journey continued to evolve in 2016 as she delved into the traditional Northern Thai style of Thai Yoga Massage, adding yet another dimension to her skill set. Currently, she is enrolled in a rigorous 300-hour intensive course for Structural Integration, which will enable her to offer this specialized service to her clients in the fall of 2024.

With a diverse range of modalities in her repertoire, Sarah is dedicated to providing clients with a comprehensive approach to wellness. Her offerings include:

* Connective Tissue Massage(CTM), highly effective for addressing abdominal adhesions, particularly after surgeries or liposuction

* Table Thai Yoga Massage, combined with assisted stretching, often referred to as “the lazy man's yoga”

* Lymphatic Massage in the Vodder style, renowned for its efficacy in reducing post-op swelling and bolstering immunity.

* Craniosacral Therapy, recommended for easing symptoms of PTSD, by giving the nervous system a break from being “always on.”

Sarah spends free time with her young grandkids, cooking, both with and without a recipe, perusing antique stores, creating digital photography, yoga and playing bongos. Her “deserted island band” is The Beatles.
